Postpartum and Sibling Doula Services

Receive Postpartum and/or Sibling doula services virtually or in-person in Washington, DC metro area. The price listed is an hourly rate.

This is a short term service with flexibility in schedule across a 2 or 3 week span. You have the option to schedule up to 30 hours within a week, except overnights, and up to 7 hours within a day.

In your postpartum doula package, you will receive the following:

• Child care which includes but is not limited to:
  • Diaper changing
  • Feeding
  • Breastfeeding and pumping support
  • Swaddling and soothing
  • Identifying hunger cues
  • Bathing
  • Babywearing
• Massage and comfort support for the mother
• Providing tips, information, and referrals to assist with childcare, postpartum healing, and adapting to parenthood
• Household chores such as:
  • Light cleaning
  • Cooking/food prepping
  • Laundry

As a part of your sibling doula package, you will receive the following:

• 24 hours of in-home support while birthing person is in labor
• Caring for child and abiding by their routine to ensure their comfortability while parents are away
• Basic cooking/cleaning needs in the home
• In-home visit prior to birth (optional but highly recommended)
• Videocalls and pictures for check-ins with child and parents
• If there are pets, walking and feeding will be provided if needed
