Hi,  I'm Dr. Steve Presley and I coach individuals on how to meditate and practice mindfulness in their daily life.

I teach people via 45-minute sessions over a few weeks, as it takes a few sessions to get the hang of it and to begin seeing and experiencing the effects and benefits. I tailor each session to your needs and pace of learning. 

Each session can include some context and instructions on a particular meditation, me guiding you through the meditation followed by us talking about how it went for you and what you noticed, and feedback on how you can refine the meditation.  At the end of each session, I assign post-session exercises so you can build skill and experience with the new practices during the day. After our first session, we begin each session by checking in and reviewing how your previous week went with the new practices.  

With regular daily practice, most people will begin seeing progress in just a few weeks. In my experience, it often takes 10-12 weeks to build a steady foundation of skills that can be sustained in daily life and work. And of course, meditation and mindfulness is a lifelong journey.

Meditation and mindfulness practices are powerful life skills that can bring about significant positive changes in one's being and doing.
