Calm Minds Matter

Welcome to Calm Minds Matter! calmmindsmatter.com

Olivia coaches individuals who have a mindfulness practice or are interested and committed to beginning one. She often works with clients whose lives are limited by their incessant and negative thought patterns, outdated beliefs, assumptions about who they are, and that are ultimately allowing their fear and anxiety to control their decision making and behavior, which is preventing them from living their desired lives. Olivia's ideal client is looking for improvement in their relationships, career, overall mental and physical well-being, their connection to self and their ability to live a joyful and authentic life.

Some Typical Goals and/or Challenges of Olivia's clients include:

- Reducing anxiety and ultimately calming the mind;

- Reconnecting with self and to learn/relearn who they are;

- To improve relationships

- To learn why there is a breakdown in their ability to effectively attain their life goals;

- To make a change in their life so that they are living in a way that is more aligned with their purpose/authentic self (this can be career, relationship, etc.).

- To better understand and clear any self-limiting patterns, outdated beliefs, assumptions about one's self, fears, etc.

More about Olivia:

Olivia has a background in Ayurvedic Yoga, which includes mindfulness practices, Buddhist/Hindu philosophy, breathing techniques, meditation, physical asanas; all with the purpose of clearing and making space for connecting with ourselves and ultimately to our higher selves. This background and knowledge is well complimented by her Board-Certified training in Psychosynthesis Life Coaching. Psychosynthesis is a methodology that was developed by the work of Dr. Roberto Assagioli, an Italian Psychiatrist. This coaching mechanism is supported by tools, research and approaches from the fields of psychology, coaching and neuroscience designed to facilitate personal and professional growth. Psychosynthesis integrates Eastern and Western cultures and traditions, including: transpersonal and humanistic psychology, Internal Family Systems Therapy techniques, yogic practices, mindfulness, imagination therapy, and somatic exploration. This method of coaching can guide clients in finding the space to tap into their intuition and internal wisdom (with the purpose of strengthening other functions than just the thinking mind) to heal old wounds and messaging that can limit their growth and potential and ultimately prevent them from living a purposeful life. Benefits to these methods are no longer living in constant fight/flight/freeze/stress response; reduced anxiety; improved ability to self-manage; improved ability to effectively realize desired goals (“will” training); improved relationships; improved clarity and sense of self; increased well-being and improved quality of life.

Olivia's creation of Calm Minds Matter was inspired by her own journey to mental, physical and spiritual wellness and her desire to share her knowledge and skills to help facilitate others' healing and improved quality of life.
